An half day adoration was conducted on Wednesday 02 January 2008 at the Cathedral Church, Palai for the cause of the persecutions against the Christians in Orissa. This was conducted as per the desire and instruction of Bishop Mar Joseph Kallaarangatt. The entire diocese was represented in the adoration through almost 1500 parish priests, religious students and lay faithful of the diocese.
The adoration began at 2.00pm with the words of blessings by Mar Joseph Pallikaparampil. Bp. Mar Joseph Kallarangatt gave a message during the adoration which ended at 6.00 pm with the Eucharistic blessing.
Very Rev. Fr. Joseph Kuzhinjalil the Passtoral Co-ordinator and Rev. Fr. Kurian Mattam gave the leading for the adoration and prayer meeting.
