Public Meeting on Deepika Circulation

    A grand public meeting has been conducted in Palai on 25 March 2008 at the Cathedral parish hall. The meeting was convened as  per the desire of Bishop Mar Joseph Kallarangatt. the meeting was participated by almost 2500 faithful of the diocese of Palai, including the Rev. Fathers and the Religious Sisters.

    Rev. Fr. George Vargheese Njarakunnel, the diocesan Co-ordinator for Deepika Circulation gave a warm welcome to all. Bp. Kallarangatt gave the presidential address in which he spoke courageously on the need for wider circulation of Deepika. Sri. Sunil Jose Koozhampala, the Managing Director of Deepika and Rev.Fr. Jose Panthaplamthotty, the chief editor of Deepika spoke on the platform for Deepika. Rev. Fr. Jose Nellickatheruvil, the General Circulation Manager expressed the vote of thanks, which was followed by the group discussion. The meeting ended at 4.00 pm with a simple refreshment.
